Wow! Thanks for the kind words and taking the time to read the whole thread. I haven't
I'll have to go back, now that it's gone, for nostalgia.

Welcome to the forum as well.
You never know what the future will bring as far as making these. I never realized just how universally the Master Sword is loved.

My daughter Katie, wrote an article to Nintendo Power magazine. Don't know if it will get published or not.

Just out of curiosity, which version of the MS is your fave? And would you prefer a good cutter or more of a display piece?

Thanks again C. Jerry

Yeah, reading the whole thing took a while, but I didn't know about the other thread, the one with the pictures

I don't really know, acutally. I've never learned to sword fight, but on the other hand having something that's just pretty but not functional seems dumb I mean, what ever we ever get attacked by Zombies?!

And my favorite MS? I don't really know. I love them all I do know that the one you made here was just gorgeous. So I'd probably let you have your way, maybe we could do some drawings and stuff.

It'll be awhile before I could afford it, anyway

Awesome! Let me just tell you that youve inspired me to turn an old blade into a master sword. it's all your fault.

Well Jerry, I can see no reason that you shouldn't make another!

Or perhaps a similarly inspired sword.

AHH, good then. people will love it.

Nintendo loved it, but kindly reminded me that it is a registered trade mark. That thing is nuts. i even see it on people's Facebook. Still flabbergasts me.

That design is a very robust cutter, without being overly heavy. A good design with room for many improvements. It doesn't fit in any Okeshott typology, (the blade shape that is), that I know of. Worth looking at.
