RMSG 2009 Seminar Series #2 - Introduction to the Dagger March 29th, 2009

On Sunday, March 29th, the Rocky Mountain Swordplay Guild will be hosting the second in our series of one-day seminars on the Western Martial Arts. This seminar will continue our introduction to Fiore dei Liberi's 'Fior di Battaglia', a 14th century fighting treatise this time focusing on the use of the dagger. In addition to detailing concepts such as timing, distance and body mechanics, we will also spend time discussing the application of Fiore's art to modern day self-defence.

No previous martial arts experience or equipment is needed.

This seminar will take place at Sala d'arme Spartani, the RMSGs training facility, located at 10600 W 50th Ave, Unit 10, Wheat Ridge, CO.

This seminar is designed to be an introduction to the unarmed vs dagger, and dagger vs dagger material of Fiore dei Liberi, as taught here at the Rocky Mountain Swordplay Guild. Participants should wear comfortable clothing, and bring a water bottle and/or notepad. Expect to sweat, learn and have a lot of fun.

Tuition is $35 for members, $65 for non-members. We will be breaking for lunch.
