Welcome to the Japanese-Style Sword Makers Cafe (Please read first) - 10-02-2002, 10:53 AM

Thank you for joining us here in the Japanese-Style Sword Maker's Cafe. We have been asked by those whose profession surrounds American-made (non-Japanese) Japanese-style swords. So if your interests are bladesmithing, stock removal, polishing, etching, habaki-making, tsuba-crafting, tsuka-carving, menuki-making, fuchi-kashira fabricating, you've come to the right place.

We invite you to pull up a chair with a cup of your favorite coffee and post away!

If you've arrived here by direct link and have not created a login ID, please note: bookmark http://swordforum.com/ as your entry way to this site. You will need to create a user ID for yourself. At the root page of http://swordforum.com/ (on the far right) is a link called "Create New Login ID". Click that and the system will step you through creating a user ID. Use that same page to log in with the user ID and password that you created. Remember, user IDs cannot be nicknames or just first names. We need a full name for participation (e.g. J. Smith, John Smith, John S.)

If you have any technical trouble, email us at sfiadmin@swordforum.com

Terminology

Below are some terminology to get you started. (Please pardon my poor illustrations; it's better to have photos of the real thing):

Adrian
Maestro of the Bolognese School (Spaghetti sauce, not fencing!)
